We didn’t build Ray alone.
We partnered with OpenSubtitles — the world’s largest subtitle database with over two decades of subtitle data across hundreds of thousands of titles and every genre imaginable.
Ray’s AI models are trained and fine-tuned on real, human-created subtitles from OpenSubtitles. When you press play, Ray’s AI agent first searches for existing human-written subtitles. If a quality match exists, it uses that. If not, it generates subtitles from scratch.
The result: subtitle quality that generic AI tools cannot match. Natural phrasing. Cultural context. Accurate timing. Because the AI learned from the best — millions of subtitles written by real humans.
